I am really amazed that we are still trapped in the same rut after so many years. There are way too many people that think that standards that are about what you look like on the outside. There are people that post things about what to look like on the outside but their profile has music that makes you wonder what the holiness of their heart looks like. I am not against modest dress or seperation or any of the things that we have practiced for so many years but I am against putting on the makeup of a pentecostal over the filthy rags that are on the inside. The world does not need washed down fake selfrighteous christians in this day. They need genuine and real christinas that live a holy life from the inside.

I am not saying that we abandon all standards or any at all. I am saying that we need to have it on the inside first. We do not drive a car at 6 because we are not mature enough to do so. So it is with the Word. We have to mature first and in that maturing we learn what is right and wrong so when we are of proper age then we can obey what God has for us. Lets not force feed something to others that gets lodged in our throats. If you are not holy on the inside then you have no business expecting others to look holy on the outside. Therein lies the lesson that history can teach us. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways! Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Good thought.

Jesus called them whited suplcures (sp).

The leve of Holiness will spill to the outside.  THe outside never seems to soak in, it always must seap out.

Glory to God

That's good but how do you define clothes that glorify God.  And is you work as a trash colector say or in a coal mine how can your clothes glorify God?  Just wondering how you difine this.  And where you get this in scripture.
